The national spotlight on Riley Green continues to grow.
The Jacksonville native will be a coach on the upcoming season of The Voice on NBC. Green will become the 24th different judge on the show.
Green will join veteran coaches Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine along with one other soon-to-be-announced coach for the 30th season of the singing competition.
Prior to a show in Georgia over the weekend, Green announced the news on social media + posted a message he got from Clarkson.
“I’m super stoked to coach alongside you. Welcome to The Voice! I am a super fan of your music, you’re so good.”

The show also delivered his coaching chair to the venue in Alpharetta before his show.
Alabama on NBC’s The Voice
Our state has been the star of the television singing competition in recent years.
In April, Mobile County native Alexia Jayy became the first Black woman to ever win The Voice.
In the prior season, it was Jazz McKenzie that represented the state, making it all the way to the finale.
And in 2024, Selma native Asher HaVon won the competition.
Don’t be surprised if there is more Alabama talent on the stage in Season 30. And expect Riley Green to be the frontrunner to coach any of them.
