The highly-anticipated third album from Alabama Shakes is nearly here.

After months of touring and teasing new music along the way, the band has announced it will be releasing the album I Must Be Dreaming on August 28.

This will be their first album since their Tuscaloosa reunion in 2024 + their first full-length release since Sound & Color in 2015.

“The world feels heavy right now. War, politics, people scared. The dream feels further away than it used to. But even in all of that, things still grow. Gardens come back, light gets through, people find each other. Songs find a way home. Time changes everything. The love that stays the life that keeps moving. This record came from those places. Not ignoring the chaos and pretending it’s not there, just listening for what could still bloom inside of it. Somehow, I feel hope coming.”
