A new Hard Rock Reverb hotel is coming to Florence. (Hard Rock International)

North Alabama’s secure place in the history of rock music has made it an attractive spot for Hard Rock International to build a music-themed hotel, and after more than a year of preparations, the developer is moving forward with the plan.

Hard Rock announced last week that a new Reverb by Hard Rock hotel will open in Florence in 2028, making it the first Reverb hotel in Alabama.

The contemporary hotel will contain:

Approximately 155 rooms with views of the Tennessee River
More than 2,000 square feet of meeting space catering to business travelers and event planners
A theme that that focuses on local music, food and lifestyle
