Auburn listed among nation’s 54 most beautiful campuses according to Condé Nast

The Auburn University campus is often nationally recognized for its architecture, history + landscape.
Most recently, Condé Nast Traveler put the college on its list of 54 Most Beautiful Campuses in America. Auburn is the state’s only college + one of four SEC schools to make the list.
“If you’re looking at undergraduate options, thinking of grad school, or just need some visual inspiration, these are the places to know about. But even if you’ve graduated and are far and away from your school days, you might just find yourself in the same college town as one of these storied institutions: Do yourself a favor and stroll around campus. Who knows? You might learn something.”

There are probably several reasons why Auburn made the list but the travel + culture media outlet focused on one of the most recognizable college buildings in the entire state.
“Samford Hall stands on Auburn University’s former central building, known as Old Main. In 1887, Old Main burned down and Samford Hall, which still stands today, was built. Ever the sentimentalists, the architects behind the new building used salvaged bricks from Old Main.”
