New format within the Jordan-Hare
At past A-Day’s, the Auburn Tigers divided up into two teams to play a scrimmage for onlooking fans. This year, Auburn joined the growing list of teams like The Crimson Tide that made the change to an open-practice format.
Fans watched as the team partook in warm-up exercises + ran through plays.
Admission to the stadium was entirely free, making it a great opportunity for community members to sit wherever they so choose inside the stadium.
Many fans could be seen dancing + cheering so they could get their moment to shine on the jumbo-tron.
The Tiger Walk + autograph signing

Prior to the Tiger Walk, there was a merch tent set up in front of Plainsman Park for those wanting to shop + kill time before the day’s festivities.
The Tiger Walk began at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, with people lining up along South Donahue leading to the stadium. The procession was led by Aubie and the Auburn University Cheer Team. Following closely behind were the football team’s coaches and players, ready to hand out high fives to waving fans.
As soon as the last of the players filed into the stadium, there was a surge of fans hurrying to grab a place in the Jordan-Hare security lines.
After the open practice concluded, fans were able to line up + walk onto the Pat-Dye Field for an autograph signing. Seated among various tables were the football team + the cheer team. Hugh Freeze + Aubie were set up at opposite end-zones, with a backdrop behind Freeze.
