Chase Bank to add 24 new branches in Alabama by 2030

Today, New York City-based JPMorganChase announced its plans to more than triple its number of branches in the state of Alabama by 2030, as part of the bank’s effort to increase access to financial services across the state.

JPMorganChase adding 24 new branches in Alabama

According to a recent press release, JPMorganChase is planning to open 24 new Chase branches across the state by 2030.
“Alabama is a vibrant state with a strong manufacturing economy, good small business growth, and burgeoning aerospace and technology sectors.
Our mission is to support economic growth and foster opportunity for all.
This is the right time and the right place for an expansion of Chase branches and jobs in communities all across this state—from Mobile to Montgomery and Muscle Shoals.”

Chase Bank opened its first Alabama branch five years ago and has since expanded to 11 branches across the state:
- One in Auburn
- Three in Birmingham
- One in Homewood
- Two in Hoover
- One in Huntsville
- Two in Madison
- One in Tuscaloosa

The expansion will bring the total number of Chase branches in Alabama to 35, putting more than half of the state’s population within an accessible drive time to a Chase branch.
