At Pour Baby, the extensive wine menu is only half the draw. In my opinion, wine is best when joined with a delicious meal. Try items like their gourmet grilled cheese or seared duck breast. Then, sit back and relax in their trendy, upscale atmosphere.

Red or White Wine has several locations throughout Alabama with a wonderful seletion of vino and food at each. Their long list of wines by the glass, plus wine shop with bottles from across the country and worldwide, make this a popular spot.

POST is one of the coolest cocktail bars I’ve ever seen, with the most creative flavor combinations and beautiful presentations imaginable. Order one of their “Interesting Reds” like the Truffle Dog Russo from Italy or The Prisoner from California. In the mood for white? The Blue Nun Reisling from Germany is a great choice.

5. Domke Market’s wine bar

The female-owned and operated Domke Market has won several Nappie Awards for the best wine and gourmet market. It’s also home to the only wine club in Mobile.

Owner Brooke Goff says she and her staff pride themselves on “being the unpretentious place to learn about and enjoy wine,” and have worked hard to cultivate an environment that is casual, friendly and welcomes all.

6. The Haberdasher

The Haberdasher is a pub and cocktail lounge in Mobile serving upscale eats, craft drinks and red, white and sparkling wines. Head there during the week from 4-6:30PM for their Happy Hour and $6 glasses of their house wine.

It’s time to get a drink at the bank. Yeah, you read that right—Las Florditas is a Cuban-style speakeasy located inside an old Mobile bank. Check out the place on Tuesday through Saturday from 4-6PM for 50% off of all bottles of wine and Thursday through Saturday for live music. They have a wide selection of vino to choose from as well as some deilicous dessert wine options.

Pro Tip: It’s no suprise that a place this classy has a dress code, so make sure to dress up for the occasion.
