Chipotle coming to Florence for the first time—find out where

Florence is about to get a bit more flavor. Chipotle has started working on its first location in the area, and here’s what you need to know.

The new Florence Chipotle’s location + opening date

Whether you’re a bowl person or a burrito person, both will be available in Florence soon at the new Chipotle. Here’s the details:

• Location: In front of the Florence Mall, facing Fox Creek Parkway (according to the Times Daily)
• Opening Date: TBD (expected 2024)

While we don’t yet have an exact opening date, clearing work has begun at the site according to the Times Daily. So, we can expect to be eating queso and carne asada in Florence before long.

Chipotles all over the state

Chipotles seem to be popping up all over Alabama, with 23 open already across the state. Here’s some of the most recent openings:

• A new Chipotle opened in Gardendale on August 9, 2023.
• Phenix City is getting a new Chipotle at some point soon.
