Designer Heidi Elnora announces new collection + Huntsville boutique

Alabama-based wedding dress designer, Heidi Elnora, celebrates her fifteenth year in the fashion business by showcasing her new anniversary collection in New York City. Keep reading to learn more about this commemorative collection and plans for a Huntsville location.

Heidi Elnora makes it to Bergdorf Goodman

Heidi Elnora has many titles. Wedding dress designer, entrepreneur, TV personality, Project Runway alum—to name a few. Most importantly, she is an industry leader who has lead her way to the iconic Bergdorf Goodman in New York City.

“I feel like when you make it at Bergdorf, you’ve made it – you’ve made it to Heaven’s gates. It is the epitome of fashion. I remember walking on 5th Avenue throughout the years, staring at the windowfronts; I bought my wedding shoes there – Manolo Blahniks – so there could be one piece of Bergdorf on my wedding day.”

Elnora’s fifteenth anniversary collection trunk show will take place at Bergdorf Goodman Bridal Salon on 5th Avenue in NYC. The “lifelong dream and bucket list” achievement showcase is Friday, October 1-Saturday, October 2 from 11AM to 6PM.

The featured fifteenth anniversary collection is “beautiful and all things Heidi”—a collection of 13 to 15 pieces that Elnora deeply put her heart and soul into. 

“I wanted this collection to be true to me. I didn’t worry on this collection about what would sell, I did whatever made my heart feel full. The collection makes me happy; every sketch makes me happy. It reflects that my roots are in Alabama, but my wings are all over. It’s very me, to my core.”

The collection reflects Elnora’s raw, Southern heritage with a timeless, feminine flair—much like her bridal shops.

Heidi expands across Alabama

In 2006, Elnora opened her namesake flagship atelier in the heart of downtown Birmingham on historic Morris Avenue. Two years after, she launched a sister store in Auburn named Build-A-Bride that features dozens of personalized silhouettes and add-ons.

Following the success in Birmingham and Auburn, a third location will open in Huntsville‘s Five Points this November—becoming the first and only bridal shop in the historic district.
