Dirt Cheap, the popular discount store headquartered in Hattiesburg, Mississippi is closing all of its Alabama stores.

The store’s parent company, Channel Control Merchants filed bankruptcy documents outlining the closures. Store closing sales are expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Below is a map of the Dirt Cheap locations in Anniston, Atmore, Birmingham, Demopolis, Dothan, Jackson, Mobile, Thomasville and Tuscaloosa.

It has been a rough half of 2024 for retail in Alabama. In July, Conn’s Homeplus and Badcock Home Furniture also closed their nearly 50 stores statewide.
