Druid City Brewing announces The Get Up 3 concert at Bama Theatre

Some of the biggest names in music from Alabama will get together for an intimate show in Tuscaloosa next month.
Druid City Brewing Company has put together the concert, scheduled for Dec. 18 at the Bama Theatre. The lineup includes:
- Brittany Howard
- Mike Cooley
- Lee Bains III
- The Wanda Band
- Jameson Hubbard

The Get Up 3
After the devastating tornado in Tuscaloosa in 2011, Druid City Brewing Company partnered with the Tuscaloosa Arts Council to put on the first The Get Up concert to raise funds for recovery efforts. That first show included The Alabama Shakes (Brittany Howard’s former band), the Dexateens and Lee Bains + The Glory Fires.
The brewery, led by Bo Hicks, has often been involved in community efforts in recent years but now, it’s the brewery asking for a little help.
“This Get Up concert is a benefit for the brewery to help us continue to bring original music and art to Tuscaloosa and will go such a long way to give us a sturdy foundation to keep fighting for good and art in Tuscaloosa. There are three different levels of tickets that can be purchased including VIP experiences that include a pre-show party. Here’s what you need to know about the show:
