Football season is just around the corner, and that means it’s time to watch some of our state’s best athletes go head to head with their rivals. Get your tickets and get geared up for two HBCU face-offs– the inaugural Port City Classic and the Gulf Coast Challenge this fall.

Gulf Coast Challenge

In the 5th annual Gulf Coast Challenge, watch the Jackson State University Tigers face the Alabama A&M Bulldogs for a fierce rivalry game you won’t want to miss. The event will take place on Saturday, October 7 at Mobile’s Ladd-Peebles Stadium with kickoff at 3PM.

Port City Classic

The inaugural Port City Classic will feature the Alabama State Hornets and the Grambling State Tigers in a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) showdown. Mark your calendar for game day Saturday, November 4 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium with kickoff at 4PM.
