Forbes just released their fourth annual America’s best employers list and Alabama has so many A+ companies on it. Keep reading to learn which companies made the top 15 employers in the state and how Forbes ranked these companies.

We have so many growing companies in Alabama that are doing exciting work and building amazing teams. Here are the top 15 employers in the state:

- Hoover City School District
- US Department of Veterans Affairs
- Northrop Grumman
- Auburn University

How did Forbes rank these businesses?
The workplace has been different since the pandemic. By understanding this fact, Forbes looked at how businesses are adapting to benefit the well-being of their employees, gain talent and avoid burnout. To determine the best employers in the nation, Forbes surveyed 70,000 Americans who work for companies with at least 500 employees. Forbes worked with the market research company Statista to gather the anyonymus surveys and rank the 1,382 employers with the most recommendations.
