‘Tis the season of giving, and Auburn is celebrating the holidays by giving back to the community they love. In honor of GivingTuesday, we’re highlighting ways the city is spreading joy this season. Check it out.

Women’s Hope Medical Clinic provides free pregnancy support, information, social services and more to women in need. Multiple Auburn businesses and churches are supporting the organization by displaying a Women’s Hope tree at their location. All you have to do is choose an ornament and drop that particular gift off at 820 Stage Rd, Auburn, AL 36830.

Here’s where you can discover these special trees.

3. Be a Santa to a Senior

Be a Santa to a Senior caters to older adults who may be overlooked or isolated during the holidays. To ensure a season of cheer, the Opelika Activity Center is working to provide 100 gifts to seniors in the community. In addition, these three Auburn locations display a tree featuring ornaments with seniors’ first names and gift suggestions.

The businesses ask that you choose an ornament and present the gift unwrapped to the location you received the ornament from.

GivingTuesday is the perfect way to ring in the most wonderful time of the year. We love seeing all the ways our Alabama communities come together to share, care and spread joy!

Keep up with us on social @TheBamaBuzz for all the holiday festivities to come.
