GREAT DEALS: Alabama state surplus auction runs till June 25

Looking for a laptop or furniture for the office? How about a used car?

The Surplus Property Division of the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs is currently hosting an online auction with bidding running until Sunday, June 25, 6PM.

How to Become a Bidder?

To join the auction — take the following steps:

  • Register as a GovDeals bidder. This is a quick process, but is crucial. You can access the registration form from their website to get started. 
  • Bid on your items and win! Payment will be taken online. 

Not sure about the pictures you’re seeing online? 

Auction items can be inspected on-site at the Surplus Property Division’s Montgomery Distribution Center at 4590 Mobile Highway, from 8AM to 3PM on Thursday, June 22, and Friday, June 23.

BONUS: In addition to property no longer needed by state and federal agencies, ADECA acquires items abandoned voluntarily at several airports in the Southeast.

Items are sold as is with no warranty, and all sales are final.
