Hugh Freeze (Caleb Turrentine / The Bama Buzz)

SEC Media Days often marks the first time each coach will face some of the tougher questions before a new season begins. How many real answers we get usually depends on which coach is talking.

Kalen DeBoer will likely still take on much of the spotlight, albeit a little bit less than last year. But there’s no denying last year was a failure compared to Alabama standards so what’s the pressure like for DeBoer this season?

Meanwhile, Auburn’s Hugh Freeze finally has a new-look offense with players he brought in himself. Could that create the change Tigers fans have been hoping for since Freeze was hired?

Those will be just some of the questions facing both coaches when they sit in front of local, state and national media.

As usual, there will also be a focus on the quarterbacks around the conference.

Auburn’s Jackson Arnold will actually be in attendance so expect plenty of questions to be directed at him. Alabama’s quarterback battle seems to be over with Ty Simpson taking the reins but what about freshman phenom Keelon Russell? What will his role be?
