Huntingdon College men’s basketball set to make first ever appearance in NCAA Division III Tournament

For the first time in program history, the Huntingdon men’s basketball team is headed to the NCAA Tournament.
The Hawks, who play at the Division III level, won the Collegiate Conference of the South tournament to earn an automatic bid to the national tournament. Here’s what you need to know about their first-round matchup:

Huntingdon Hawks
Huntingdon had lost three of its final five games in the regular season, entering the conference tournament as the three seed. The Hawks had to beat the top two seeds on their way to earning their first ever conference title.
Now, they are one of 64 teams across the country preparing to battle for a national championship.
If Huntingdon can get past the home team Emory, the Hawks will then play against the winner of Guilford vs. Berry in the second round. That game is scheduled to be played at 5:50PM Saturday.
