Jax State bowling team ranked tops in the nation

This state is no stranger to college sports championships, and this year, one state school is in prime position to add another trophy to the Alabama championship case.

Jacksonville State’s women’s bowling team is ranked no. 1 in the country right now and is beating their competition in dominating fashion.

Jacksonville State women’s bowling is no. 1

The National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) tabbed Jacksonville State as its unanimous favorite in its February Poll, as voted on by NCAA head bowling coaches.

The Gamecocks started the 2023-24 season with a runner-up finish in their first tournament and have won the title in all five tournaments since. JSU received all 43 first-place votes in the poll..

The Gamecocks have four more tournaments to play before the Conference USA tournament begins March 21.

The NCAA Championships will take place April 4-13, at which time we are hoping JSU hoists the national championship trophy.
