JOANN, the fabric and craft chain with a loyal following, is closing three Alabama stores.
According to multiple reports, the Ohio-based store company, which filed for bankruptcy a second time in less than a year in January, is closing 500+ stores nationwide. Presently, there are 850 Joann stores.
The three Alabama stores slated to close according to USA Today, include:
- Florence – 354 Cox Creek Parkway
- Montgomery – 7951 Eastchase Parkway
- Tuscaloosa – 1702 Veterans Memorial Parkway
Only two JOANN stores in Huntsville and Hoover remain open in Alabama. There is also a distribution center in Opelika.
