Meet The Bama Buzz team + how we celebrate football season

Football Kickoff Season is finally here! To celebrate, we asked our team member who their fave college football team is and how they celebrate the football season. Here’s what a few of them had to say.

1. Cindy Martin

Cindy Martin, CEO & Founder, is a Bessemer local, graduate of the University of Alabama and a die-hard Roll Tide fan! Both of her parents worked at the University and her brother is a graduate, too.

She loves to celebrate the positive energy that comes with football season in Alabama and will be tailgating at home this year.

2. Wade Cline

Wade Cline is our Sales Manager and a Samford University graduate. Wade roots for the Alabama Crimson Tide and you can catch him celebrating football season at home with a local beer and cooking up some certified Angus beef from Piggly Wiggly.

3. Pat Byington

Pat Byington is a Content Producer and University of Alabama alumnus. He is a huge Bama fan—what a shocker! He is a Sheffield native and spends his game nights refereeing soccer games.

4. Madison Croxson

Madison Croxson is another UA grad team member. She is a part of the Content Production team and is originally from Ellicott City, Maryland. Madison loves watching the game at friend’s houses, breweries or fun restaurants around town.

5. Cecilia Wood

Cecilia Wood is an Auburn University graduate and an Auburn Tigers fan! She is a Birmingham local and loves celebrating game days tailgating (and drinking mimosas) with friends—even when Auburn doesn’t win.

She is a Content Producer and the new Social Media Manager for The Bama Buzz.

6. Olivia Moses

Olivia Moses doubles as a Content Producer and Instagram Manager. She is a Dallas, Texas native and a Samford grad—GO BULLDOGS! Nowadays, Olivia celebrates with a Ghost Train beer and the game on the big screen.

7. Emily Kent

Now working as our Huntsville Content Producer, Emily Kent is originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina. She graduated twice from the University of Alabama and loved celebrating game day at the university’s Bryant-Denny stadium.

8. Liv George

Liv George is a student at the University of South Alabama and a Content Producer Intern at The Bama Buzz. Way back when, she used to celebrate game day as a member of the Jaguar Marching Band. Now, she cheers them on at Hancock-Whitney Stadium.

9. Sonia Kerrigan

Sonia Kerrigan is one of our newest Content Producer Intern. She attends Samford University but cheers for the Texas A&M Aggies—her hometown is Houston, Texas.

She prefers to spend college game days at TAMU. The night before the game, she would go to midnight yell practice at the stadium.

10. Selah Vetter

Selah Vetter is another one of our newest Content Production Interns from Samford University. Her hometown is Knoxville, Tennessee and she spends her game days tailgating with friends—cheering on the Bulldogs!

11. Summer Guffey

Summer Guffey is a Freelance Writer for The Bama Buzz. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham—GO BLAZERS! Her hometown is Huntsville, AL and she spends her game nights waiting for basketball season.
