Are you on the job hunt? Mercedes-Benz U.S. International just launched a campaign that will bring hundreds of full-time jobs to Alabama. These open positions offer full benefits + more to those with production experience. Keep reading for all the details.

We love hearing when new job opportunities open up for Alabamians. Now, Mercedes is doing just that. Full-time jobs are available immediately in Assembly, the Body and Paint Shop. Positions are also available at Mercedes Alabama’s electric vehicle battery plant in Bibb County.

Get your CVs ready, Alabama. Mercedes hopes to fill all of these new positions by the end of the year. To qualify, applicants must:
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Have one to three years of manufacturing experience
- Be able to perform the essential functions of the job

Did you know that Tuscaloosa is home to Mercedes-Benz U.S. International? Mercedes began building cars in Tuscaloosa County in 1997. Now the facility employs around 4,400 employees (and this number is growing every day!).
Mercedes-Benz has invested billions of dollars in the Tuscaloosa County plant since its opening, and it shows. In 2020, more than 210,000 vehicles cruised off of the production line.
