Mobile-based rock country band The Red Clay Strays has some exciting news—they’re opening for the Rolling Stones in May!

Red Clay Strays announced the soon-to-be-iconic performance on Facebook last week, saying they’ll be opening for the Stones at a show in Boston. At last check, there were still tickets available—so if you’re feeling up to the trek to Boston, you’ll need to be there on May 30.
The announcement was met with excitement from fans—who were largely thrilled to see the group getting their flowers. Many of those commenting had seen the Strays live before and knew the band would make it big one day.
About the Red Clay Strays
Red Clay Strays started in 2016 and have been taking the Gulf Coast by storm ever since. The group started gaining attention when they opened for acts like Eric Church and Dierks Bentley. An article in, ironically, Rolling Stone further thrust the band into household name territory.
The band has five members:
- Brandon Coleman, Lead vocals/guitar
- Drew Nix, Vocals/electric guitar/harmonica
- Zach Rishel, Electric guitar
- Andrew Bishop, Bass
- John Hall, Drums
