NEW: Alabama Shakes announces reunion tour with stop in Birmingham

It turns out the Alabama Shakes reunion in Tuscaloosa in December 2024 was a sign of things to come.
After a week of teasing something on social media, the band sent out a text message for fans who signed up with a simple message: “The Wait is Over… 2025 Tour is here.”
The band is getting back together for their first tour in nearly a decade, announcing 30 stops across the country including one at a new venue here in Alabama.
Alabama Shakes 2025 Tour
We’re still waiting on an announcement about new music from the band but the tour itself is a reunion music fans have asked for the last 8 years. The tour will include three of the four original band members including Brittany Howard, Heath Fogg + Zac Cockrell.
The band’s tour across the country includes:

- July 18: Minnesota Yacht Club Festival in Minneapolis, MN
- July 19: The Astro Amphitheater in La Vista, NE
- July 20: Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO
- July 22: The Momentary in Bentonville, AR
- July 25: Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, TN
- July 26: Coca-Cola Amphitheater in Birmingham, AL
- August 8: Isleta Amphitheater in Albuquerque, NM
- August 9: BleauLive Theater in Las Vegas, NV
- August 10: Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre in San Diego, CA
- August 14: Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA

Coca-Cola Amphitheater
The Alabama Shakes will be one of the first to take the stage at the new Coca-Cola Amphitheater in Birmingham.
The band will make their stop on Saturday, July 26. It will be their first time performing in The Magic City together since 2017 when the band headlined Sloss Fest.
Presale for the show in Birmingham begins Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 10AM.
