After a stellar freshman season in Tuscaloosa, Ryan Williams has been selected as one of two cover athletes for the new EA Sports College Football video game.

The video game franchise returned last year with plenty of anticipation + excitement surrounding the release which included several ties to the state on the cover, led by Alabama’s Jalen Milroe.

In the first cover release from EA Sports, Williams shares the cover with fellow sophomore wide receiver Jeremiah Smith from Ohio State.

As a freshman, Williams 913 yards of offense and 10 total touchdowns. He showcased his speed with + without the ball early in the season and cemented his status as a star for the Crimson Tide with a game-winning touchdown against Georgia.

Despite his big year on the field, Williams was rated just 82 overall in the video game world. It’s safe to say the cover star will be due for a big boost in the new game.

And with the extra hype comes higher expectations. According to ESPNBet, Williams currently has the 10th best betting odds to win the 2025 Heisman Trophy (+3000).
