NEW beachfront restaurant now open in Orange Beach

Orange Beach’s newest beachfront hot spot is now open. Read on for all the details on the new restaurant, COASTAL, including an outdoor bar + full kitchen, live music every day and more.

COAST-AL is open for business

COASTAL Restaurant’s menu has a fresh, classic coastal fare featuring chef-inspired dishes, local seafood, seasonal favorites and decadent desserts. The combination of indoor and outdoor seating is perfect for a quick bite to eat on the beach or a date night with amazing views.

I obviously had to do a deep dive of the menu. Here’s what I have my eye on:

• Tuna Poke Nachos: yellowfin tuna, spicy mayo, slaw, avocado, mango, toasted seseme seeds, won-tons and a sesame glaze
• Island Shrimp Tacos: lime glazed shrimp, island rice, avocado mousse, white cheddar, pico, spicy mayo and cilantro
• Coastal Chicken Sandwich: fried chicken breast, white cheddar pimento cheese, tomato, onion, dill pickles and peach aioli

What to expect

COASTAL has live music 365 days a year, a beach boardwalk, retail shopping, an observation deck and more.

The second phase of the project will be completed in spring 2023, featuring an additional 20,000 square feet of dining space—bringing the total seats available to 1,200—and a 40-foot-tall landmark tower.
