New luxury cinema opening at the Gadsden Mall soon

The current Premiere Cinema in the Gadsden Mall is 21 years old, and the City of Gadsden has decided it’s time for an upgrade. According to the City of Gadsden, this $3.4M project will transform the cinema into a true luxury experience, including leather electric recliners and a top-notch in-theater dining experience.

“The City of Gadsden is proud to land this luxury cinematic experience at the Gadsden Mall.

As we prepare to transform that entire corridor, this development will fit perfectly into what lies ahead. I look forward to seeing residents and visitors enjoy another new high-quality entertainment option in Gadsden.”

Gary Moore, CEO of Premiere Cinema, emphasized how these upgrades will impact the community:

“Once we finish with it, Gadsden will have the nicest cinema around.

It’s really a new chapter in Gadsden’s entertainment future.”

When + where you can experience the new theater

The renovations to the theatre will begin soon, but don’t worry—you can still catch new flicks at the theater. The upgrades will take place in one half of the theater while the other stays open, then switch sides.
