Legendary pizza joint Mr. Gatti’s Pizza has opened its 2nd location in Dadeville, Alabama.

Mr. Gatti’s locally-owned in Dadeville

According to the website Pizza Marketplace, the franchise owners are Mark Weeks and Kurt Hayley, natives of the small town in Tallapoosa County.

“Growing up in Dadeville, I enjoyed visiting Lake Martin, exploring downtown and attending Dadeville High School. This community left a lasting, positive impression on me, and I want to return the favor. I can’t think of a better way to express my gratitude than by bringing back Mr Gatti’s iconic pizza, pasta and salad to my hometown.”

Kurt Hayley told Pizza Marketplace

  • Location: 191 E South Street, Dadeville, Alabama 36853
  • Hours: Monday – Thursday, Sunday 11:00AM – 9:00PM
    Friday, Saturday 11:00AM – 10:00PM

Three Mr. Gatti’s locations to open

This summer Mr. Gatti’s, which were very popular at the University of Alabama and Auburn University in the 80s and 90s, opened up the first Alabama location in years in Opelika. Hayley and Weeks also own that store. They have also announced plans to open a Mr. Gatti’s in Auburn. And according to Mr. Gatti’s locations map there are plans to build stores in T-town and Gulf Shores.

Established nearly 55 years ago in Texas, Mr. Gatti’s Pizza operates 130 locations across the country.
