Music lovers, you’re gonna want to see this. The 4th Annual Opelika Songwriters Festival is coming soon with over 80 shows across local spots—the headliners were recently announced and we couldn’t be more excited. With over 40 singer-songwriters, workshops, exciting music events and more, this October 5-8 festival is one you don’t want to miss out on. Read on for details + to secure your passes.

For the festivals fourth year in operation they brought a killer lineup. Across the four-day festival, over 40 singer-songwriters will perform shows in restaurants, coffee shops and breweries across Downtown Opelika.

This multi-venue fest allows you to listen to your favorite artists and learn about masterful songwriting in workshops throughout the event. Check out this years headliners:

  • Drivin N Cryin

Thursday, October 5 — Cocktail Dinner | 7-11PM

  • What: Enjoy a four course gourmet dinner by Chef Chris Wilton and a cocktail pairing by John Emerald Distillery for each course. You’ll see the stills in action for amazing photo ops. Plus, there’ll be a secret show by a festival artist.

Saturday, October 7 — Songwriter’s workshop

  • What: Learn the ins and outs of songwriting from the best. This limited seating event includes a minimum of 1 hour songwriting workshop led by two festival songwriters.

Sunday, October 8 — Sunday Brunch

  • What: *Requires VIP ticket* Enjoy a delicious brunch catered by Chef Chris Wilton at Resting Pulse Brewery. Seating is first come first served and there’ll be a memorable in-the-round show with festival artists.
