NEW: The Wharf announces shop lineup + anchor for huge expansion, Portside on Main

Big changes are in store for The Wharf in Orange Beach. Just yesterday, officials announced the names of the 12 businesses joining the under-construction Portside on Main expansion to The Wharf. This announcement includes a new golfing experience—and we have the details.

Tee Off at The Wharf, coming 2025

In yesterday’s announcement from the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber, Tee Off at The Wharf was announced as the anchor business for the Portside on Main expansion.

Managed by TopGolf, Tee Off at The Wharf is set to have five “swing suites”—making it the largest swing simulator on the Gulf Coast.

Owner Travis Shell says the suites will be open in the first half of 2025.

Other shops coming to Portside

With the announcement of Tee Off came the news that 11 other shops have already leased their spot at Portside:

• LM Boutique, women’s clothing boutique
• Brand, beachy keen accessories and home goods
• Kilwins, ice cream shop
• Love, Jude, upscale clothing boutique
• Little Sunshine by the Sea, luxury children’s clothing + accessories
• SALT, beachy-themed clothing + gifts
• Gulf Babe Wine Boutique, wine shop hosting events
• Bubble’s Boba Tea Co., teas and coffees with customizable add-ins
• Legacy Spirits, beer, wine + liquor with a premier flair
• Lavish Retail + Co., a T-Town boutique makes a beachfront appearance
• Crave Cookies, baked goods featuring new flavors every week

In total, all 12 shops together have leased 91% of available retail space on the first floor of Portside.

Most of the shops are locally owned, too, which makes The Wharf one of the largest centers for local business along the Gulf Coast.

About Portside on Main

Portside on Main is the latest step to expand upon the already humungous Wharf in Orange Beach. The two-story building will encompass nearly 60,000 square feet of retail and outdoor space.

When complete, Portside on Main will add 22 retailers to The Wharf, which already has 60+ unique tenants.
