Off-campus complex near UA among 16 new high-dollar building permits

This past week, 16 new building permits were issued statewide for construction projects exceeding $1 million. These projects are spread out among the Birmingham metro, Huntsville, Tuscaloosa and the Auburn-Opelika area.
One project in Tuscaloosa involves an off-campus apartment complex at the University of Alabama. Here’s more:
The Hub on Campus in Tuscaloosa
The Hub on Campus is one of the latest additions to the off-campus housing community in Tuscaloosa. This past week, a $1.2 million building permit was issued to BBMK for additions to the complex.
The Hub on Campus in Tuscaloosa includes 187 units with 481 beds. The building offers a mix of studio, one, two, three, four and five-bedroom apartments, with single occupancy bedrooms in each unit.
