RaceTrac partners with EnviroSpark

RaceTrac has partnered with electric vehicle (EV) charging provider EnviroSpark to install the convenience store chain’s first EV charging station in Oxford, Alabama.

The site, located at 204 Grace Street, was chosen for its convenient location near I-20 between Birmingham and Atlanta.

According to Convenience Store News, the new charging station will have two fast-charge, 180-kilowatt ports under an all-weather canopy. Drivers can fully charge in 15 to 20 minutes, and the plugs are compatible with all EVs. EnviroSpark and RaceTrac have plans to install additional EV charging locations in the near future.

There are currently eight RaceTrac convenience stores in Alabama. Since 2018, EnviroSpark has installed 72 DC fast chargers at c-stores across eight states.
