SEC announces kickoff windows for 2025 football season

We may not yet know exactly when each game will kick off this season but the Southeastern Conference has at least given a window for every game during the 2025 regular season.
The SEC recently released kickoff times for several games and assigned a flex window for the remaining games. It gives fans an early glimpse at their favorite team’s schedule + maybe a way to make potential plans on Saturdays this fall.
The biggest takeaway for fans around here: the 2025 Iron Bowl at Jordan-Hare Stadium will start no earlier than 2:30PM and no later than 7PM central time.

Alabama football 2025 schedule
Alabama’s non-conference schedule has already been assigned kickoff times including a 2:30PM central start time for the season opener against Florida State in Tallahassee. It will air on ABC.
The Tide’s home opener against ULM is scheduled for 6:45PM on SEC Network with the following week’s game against Wisconsin airing on ABC or ESPN at 11AM.
The good news for Tide fans is that will be the only AM kickoff in Tuscaloosa. Most of the the conference games will have flex windows including:
- Vanderbilt | Oct. 4 | 2:30-3:30PM or 6-7PM
- Tennessee | Oct. 18 | 2:30-3:30PM or 6-7PM
- at South Carolina | Oct. 25 | 2:30-3:30PM or 6-7PM
- Oklahoma | Nov. 15 | 2:30-3:30PM or 6-7PM
- at Auburn | Nov. 29 | 2:30-3:30PM or 6-7PM
LSU’s trip to Tuscaloosa is slated to be a night game with kickoff happening between 5-7PM central time.
Two of Alabama’s SEC games already have kickoff times as the trip to Athens to face Georgia will air on ABC at 6:30PM on Sept. 27. Two weeks later, the road game against Missouri is slated for 11AM on ABC or ESPN.
Auburn football 2025 schedule
Auburn’s non-conference games also already have kickoff times scheduled including the Friday night season opener at Baylor.
There is a lot more variety in Auburn’s schedule, having at least one game scheduled in each window. Here’s a closer look at the team’s SEC schedule with potential kickoff times:
- at Oklahoma | Sep. 20 | 2:30-3:30PM or 6-7PM
- at Texas A&M | Sep. 27 | 2:30-3:30PM
- Georgia | Oct. 11 | 5-7PM
- Missouri | Oct. 18 | 2:30-3:30PM or 6-7PM
- at Arkansas | Oct. 25 | 11AM-12PM
- Kentucky | Nov. 1 | 2:30-3:30PM or 6-7PM
- at Vanderbilt | Nov. 8 | 2:30-3:30PM
- Alabama | Nov. 29 | 2:30-3:30PM or 6-7PM
None of the Tigers’ conference games already have a set kickoff time. The rivalry game against Georgia is the only one guaranteed to kickoff at night.
