Meet the owners

Carri Harrison and Kaylin Wyne co-own The Dapper Dog Spaw. I, for one, appreciate a great pun and love the name of this spa for pups.

Open for only eight weeks, Carri and Kaylin found the perfect spot for their spa on August 15 and opened for business September 7.

“We’ve both been groomers for a while—Carri has 10 years of experience and I have about six. Working in dog grooming, we noticed a lot of dogs came back stressed, so we started thinking about what a salon would be like that we’d want to bring our own dogs to.”

This spa is all about giving the dogs an enjoyable (and fun) experience and making the owners feel good about leaving their four-legged pals for a hair cut. Each grooming session is one-on-one and kennel-free.

CPR certified

You can leave your furry friend in good hands at The Dapper Dog Spaw. They are one of the only CPR certified dog groomers in Huntsville. Carri and Kaylin are both dog owners themselves.

They understand the love between owners and pups, so they give your dog their full undivided attention. You can be sure your dog will be well-taken care of.

Services

This dogs-only spa offers plenty of services to get your pup all freshened up. Grooming starts at $70, depending on the size of your dog. What’s included in a base grooming? A bath, two-part conditioning treatment, a full stretch dry, nail trim/file and ear cleaning.

For an additional fee, you can get teeth cleaning, hair dye and more.

I know what you’re thinking—a dog with dyed hair? I thought so, too. Until I met Honey. Honey was in the spa getting her mohawk dyed pink. You’ve got to take a look.
