State surplus property online auction opens Saturday, October 21
It’s that time of the year again. The next online public state surplus property auction opens this Saturday, Oct. 21.
State surplus property auction — all the details
The Surplus Property Division of the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA) will host the online auction at:
The official launch of the auction begins on Saturday bright and early at 7:30AM. The bidding ends Sunday, Oct. 29, 6:00PM.
The auction items, which come from state and federal agencies, include:
- Computers
- Refrigerators
- Sofas
- Desks

Check out the auction items in person
If you need to check out the auction items in person, you can inspect them at the on-site Surplus Property Division’s Montgomery Distribution Center at 4590 Mobile Highway, from 8:00AM to 3:00PM on Monday, October 23 through Friday, October 27.
