Talk about growth! This is the only company in AL to make Deloitte’s list of fastest-growing companies

Fleetio, a fleet management software company, made the 2021 Deloitte Technology Fast 500. This Birmingham-based biz is the only company in Alabama to be featured on Deloitte’s list. How impressive! We’ve got the scoop on how Fleetio made the cut.

Making Deloitte’s list

Alabama businesses have impressed us with their accomplishments time and time again. This go-around, Fleetio is making a name for itself on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500.

This list ranks the fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech and energy tech companies in North America. The rankings are based on companies’ percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2017 to 2020.

It’s not an easy task to be included in Deloitte’s flight of fastest-growing tech companies. To even be considered, companies must:

• be in business for at least four years
• have base-year operating revenues of at least $50,000
• have current-year operating revenues of at least $5 million
• own intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products that contribute to the company’s operating revenues

So, where does Fleetio fall on the list? The numbers can do the talking. Between 2017 and 2020 Fleetio had 392.8% revenue growth which ranks it number 315 out of 500 companies.

The numbers show that Fleetio is not only a leading tech company in Alabama, but in the whole nation. Now, that deserves a round of applause.

Changing fleet operations forever

Fleetio started in 2012 with one goal: to make fleet operations simple. When a business leases a fleet of vehicles, it can get complicated to keep track of fuel, maintenance and other metrics. Fleetio makes it easy. Managers, drivers and mechanics can access and update information right from their phone or laptop.

Since its inception, Fleetio has expanded far beyond Birmingham with operations in 80 countries. Every day, thousands of people use its fleet management software to manage over 250K of vehicles, equipment, parts, drivers and more.
