The Iron Bowl 2023—here’s what you need to know

It’s that time of year again—when the Auburn Tigers play the Crimson Tide. Alabama’s two SEC teams will compete this Saturday in the 2023 Iron Bowl at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s game, whether you’re watching it live or from Tuscaloosa.

Know before you go: Iron Bowl 2023 at Jordan-Hare

Kickoff for this year’s Iron Bowl will be at 2:30PM, but doors will open at Jordan-Hare Stadium (251 S Donahue Dr, Auburn, AL 36849) by noon.

FREE events you should attend leading up to the game:

  • Coca-Cola Fan Fest: Beginning Saturday at 10AM, this fun tailgate activity will include an entertainment area, inflatable games and a live DJ. The Coca-Cola Fan Fest will be located in front of the Nichols Center on Donahue Drive.
  • Home Plate Tailgate presented by Bud Light: This event, which can be found at the Plainsman Park Parking Lot, begins Saturday at 10:30AM and provides TVs for fans to watch live football, tailgating tents and restrooms. Additionally, food and beer will be on sale.
  • The Tiger Tailgate Show presented by Conecuh Sausage: This tailgate show begins at 11AM and includes player and alumni interviews. Stop by the east side of the stadium, near the Cam Newton statue to watch this special event.

  • The Rabbit Hole: Rabbit Hole is my favorite tailgating spot/game day bar. Often featuring live music on its outdoor patio, it’s always a great time. I recommend the frozen cherry limeade and loaded fries.
