Halloweekend is right around the corner. If you’re looking for some wicked spots to get in the holiday spirit, we have you covered! Here are five spook-takular Tuscaloosa bars to spend All Hallows’ Eve.

1. Catch 22

Catch 22 is one of my fave bars in Tuscaloosa, and they’ve pulled out all the stops for Halloween. From bloody mirrors to skeletons to cob webs, the spooky decor is amazing and the drinks are even better. I recommend the pickle martini!

2. Nocturnal

If any Tuscaloosa bar perfectly matched the vibe of Halloween, it would be Nocturnal. This tavern-style spot is decked out for the holiday and even includes a seasonal drinks menu.

3. Rounders

A guide to Tuscaloosa bars wouldn’t be complete without Rounders. This iconic T-town spot will be buzzing on Halloweekend with drinks and costumes—so don’t be afraid to dress up. We recommend arriving early to avoid waiting too long in line.

4. The Red Shed

The Red Shed on Halloween has been a Halloween go-to for my friends and I (oftentimes after the line was too long at Rounders). This chill dive usually has a live band or karaoke (or both!). TRS also has a great shots menu—I recommend the Gummy Bear! Plus there’s an outdoor area to relax and play pool.

5. Loosa

This local brewery includes spooky Halloween decorations, a great craft beer menu and fun arcade games. If you’re looking for a chill bar to spend Halloweekend, look no farther than Loosa.
