This Alabama teen + Golden Buzzer winner is headed to America’s Got Talent live shows

If you haven’t been keeping up with America’s Got Talent, then you may not know that Alabama’s own Reid Wilson stole the show at his audition with his incredible vocals.
We got to talk with Reid about his experience, so keep reading to learn more about his performance and what’s next for him on AGT.
Meet Reid Wilson
Reid Wilson is a 14 year old boy from Montgomery, Alabama.
He has always loved music and finds inspiration in artists like Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston.
Although he has always enjoyed singing, Reid now dreams of pursuing music full time.
“I would like to do anything with music. That includes Broadway or pretty much anything where I can sing and show my talent.”

“You Don’t Own Me” earns Golden Buzzer from Howie Mandel
Reid was initially nervous when he walked onto the AGT stage to audition for the judges, but once he started singing his soulful rendition of “You Don’t Own Me” by Lesley Gore, he wowed the judges and crowd with his confidence and talent.
Howie Mandel was especially impressed, telling Reid that the AGT stage is “where dreams come true” before he pressed the Golden Buzzer, immediately sending Reid to the live shows.
“So, I walk on stage, and I was really nervous until I started singing. I ended up getting the Golden Buzzer, and the next thing I know, I’m messaging Howie on Instagram, feeling like he’s one of my best friends because he has changed my life.”
