Troy fight song takes top spot in USA Today’s Readers’ Choice Awards

USA Today asked its readers to select the best fight song in college sports and one Alabama university topped the list.
Troy’s “Trojans, One and All” took first place, beating out some of the biggest college football programs across the country including Alabama and Auburn.
The song is nationally recognized in part due to its appearance on the EA Sports NCAA Football video game franchise.

Trojans, One and All
The fight song was originally written by Dr. John M. Long in the 1960s but it got a 21st century revision by Ralph Ford and Robert W. Smith, both of whom served as directors for the “Sound of the South” band.
