WATCH: Netflix releases trailer for new SEC football documentary
Reading time: 2 minutes

Most of the 2024 college football season wasn’t exactly one to remember for Alabama or Auburn fans but we know that when it comes to college football, our state will still be tuned in.
Last season will be the focus of a new documentary series on Netflix titled “SEC Football: Any Given Saturday.”
The streaming service says the series will takes fans deep inside the 2024 season, offering unprecedented access to the players, coaches, and programs that define the sport’s most dominant league.
It’s unclear just how much access fans will see for the Alabama and Auburn programs but both were at least featured in the trailer released earlier this week. The Tide’s loss to Vanderbilt is heavily featured.
Take a look for yourself.
SEC Football: Any Given Saturday
One of the toughest moments of the season for Alabama fans was almost one of the biggest moments of the season for college football fans across the country. And the Netflix series leans into it.
Vanderbilt’s upset win over then-No. 1 Alabama came just one week after the Tide’s thrilling win over Georgia. The Netflix show seems to take a deep dive into the Vanderbilt mindset during the week of that game and how the Commodores pulled off the upset.
That is just one of many storylines from the 2024 season expected to be highlighted.
The seven-episode series captures the “pressure, pageantry, and pure intensity of SEC football like never before.” Inside looks will include riding along on team buses, locker room speeches, weight room exclusives and more.
“This behind-the-scenes docuseries will bring all the drama and pageantry of Southeastern Conference Football to a worldwide Netflix audience.”
Greg Sankey, SEC Commissioner
The series will drop every episode at the same time, making the entire series available to stream on Aug. 5.
