Popular Alabama pop duo, Ni/Co will be representing Alabama in TV network NBC’s newest musical competition show “American Song Contest”. Keep reading to learn more about the duo and how to keep up with them on the big screen.
American Song Contest
NBC recently launched a new show called “American Song Contest” and an Alabama-based pop duo called Ni/Co will be competing against over 50 artists for the country’s vote for the best hit song. The contest features artists from every state, Washington, D.C., and five U.S. territories who are ready to show the nation their talents.

American Song Contest will have a wide range on performers that include:
- Undiscovered talent
- Up-and-coming new artists
- Rising stars
- Established & legendary icons
This season’s acts include solo artists, duos, groups and bands and Atlantic Records will be releasing original songs that are produced for the series. Plus, the producers for the show produced “The Voice” and “Eurovision Song Contest” in Europe. It is hosted by Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson.
Ni/Co takes the big screen
Among those performers, is pop duo Ni/Co, who will be representing our beloved state, Alabama. According to WSFA 12, Dani Brillhart (Ni) and Colton Jones (Co) discovered their love for music in Alabama. In the interview, Jones explained how he began his journey in music and how music brought him and Brillhart together.

The couple and duo started making music together and found themselves playing at Alabama weddings and performed multiple times at the University of Alabama. According to WFSA 12, Ni/Co’s popularity started to grow in 2019 thanks to YouTube videos. They’ve since gained more than 40 million video views and have worked with multiple TV networks like BET and VH1.
They’ve also worked with global brands like Google, Volkswagen and Chips Ahoy. Now you can catch them on NBC’s American Song Contest on Mondays at 7PM.
