It’s time for the first of two NASCAR race weekends in Talladega this year.
Thousands of fans are already starting to converge on one of the biggest tracks in the world. Three main races will happen across two days but the weekend will feature a lot more than just racing.
Race weekend schedule
Friday, April 25: Practice and Qualifying, The Big Show & Fireworks
- 3PM—ARCA Menards Series practice
- 4:30PM—NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying
- 7PM—The Big Show on the Blvd. (open to infield campers & renewal guests)
- Fireworks immediately following the Big Show
- Tickets: Start at $22
Saturday, April 26: Doubleheader Race Action & Saturday Night Concert with Justin Moore
- 11:30AM: ARCA Menards Series General Tire 200
- 3PM: NASCAR Xfinity Series Ag-Pro 300
- 7:30PM: Saturday Night Concert. Open to all Sunday ticketholders and Infield campers
- Tickets: Start at just $45; kids 12 & under are FREE!
Sunday, April 27: Jack Link’s 500
- Race Time: 2PM
- Tickets: Start at $65 for adults—kids 12 & under can join the fun for just $15

Talladega is considered one of the most unpredictable races of the season which is why NASCAR fans can’t seem to agree on who should be considered the favorite entering the weekend.
According to betting odds from FanDuel, there are three drivers who should be considered the favorites as of Thursday morning but odds will certainly shift even more before Sunday.
Those three drivers include:
- Ryan Blaney
- Brad Keselowski
- Joey Logano
That trio is all considered 10-to-1 to win. Tyler Reddick, who won the spring race in Lincoln last year, is considered 22-to-1 to win while October race winner Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is listed as 35-to-1.
