Third Phase of 20 Midtown Underway in Birmingham

Work is underway for the third building at 20 Midtown, the popular mixed-use development in-between Birmingham’s Parkside and Southside areas. This five-story building will eventually take up an entire city block on 20th Street South and 3rd Avenue South. The project also includes 312 residential apartment units, upwards of 40,000 square-feet of retail & commercial space and a ton of ammenities for residents and guests alike.
Involved in the project are a number of firms, including:
- Designer CCR Architecture & Interiors
- Contractors KKA Construction, Ard Construction and Arlington Construction
- Property Manager Arlington Properties
- Retail Leasing SRS Real Estate Partners
- Engineers BHATE Geosciences, MTTR Engineers and Gonzalez-Strength & Associates
The 20 Midtown development also includes two other buildings, which offer 111 multifamily apartment units as well as 45,000 square-feet of commercial space, with tenants like Publix, Chipotle and Starbucks.
