2A USA to invest $32 million to expand its manufacturing operation in Auburn

2A USA, an Italian die-casting company, is expanding its operations in Auburn.

The company recently announced a $32 million investment in its manufacturing presence on the Plains. The funds will go toward increasing production capacity for casting and machining large aluminum components for the trucking industry.

The expansion is expected to create 50 new jobs.

2A USA making second significant expansion in Auburn

The latest announcement marks the company’s second major investment for expansion at the Auburn facility since it opened at Auburn Technology Park West in 2014.

In 2019, 2A USA expanded the facility with a $15 million investment.

Cavaliere Carlo Ilotte founded the Company in Italy in 1974 and developed 2A to be a technology-driven company with global reach.

With its operation in Auburn, the company has produced “Made in the USA” since 2015.
