Sunset over the Mobile Bay? Yes, please! (BLUEGILL Restaurant)

BLUEGILL Restaurant has an absolutely mouthwatering menu loaded with different seafood dishes. The establishment sits right on the Mobile Bay, allowing its customers to catch some of the most stunning sunsets and even hear some great live music.

If you’re lucky, you may even spot an alligator swimming by or lounging on the dock.

2. The August House Restaurant + Venue

You can’t tell me The August House’s menu doesn’t make your mouth water. (The August House)

One of the coolest things about August House is their frequently changing menu, courtesy of part-owner and master chef Adam Alford. From Asian sesame duck wings to braised pork belly with wild mushrooms and cheese grits, August House’s ever-changing menu is sure to never disappoint.

But what about that view? August House’s outdoor dining area is gorgeous. Guests can dine over a beautiful green lawn surrounded by string lights and trees in a relaxed environment. Did someone say ambiance?

3. The River Shack

What could be better than seafood on the water? (The River Shack)

The River Shack sits right alongside Dog River for an impressive view of the water. Known for their delicious menu (the burgers are the fan-favorite), family-friendly atmosphere and live music, The River Shack is a must-try.

But that’s not all. Visitors can arrive via boat or car, attend one of their weekly karaoke nights and even nurse a hangover with their special “hangover menu.”

4. Cafe Del Rio

Tacos and terrific views: a perfect combination. (Cafe Del Rio)

Another great stop on the Mobile Bay, Cafe Del Rio is perfect for those who want something other than the traditional seafood. If you’re looking for another reason to give them a try, the “Georgia Peach Margarita” alone is worth the visit.

The establishment’s outdoor dining has the best view. Seriously, in the right spot, you can catch the sunset right over the USS Alabama.

5. Greer’s St. Louis Market

Greer’s offers one of the few rooftop dining experiences here in Mobile. Who doesn’t want to try a delicious menu while enjoying the Mobile skyline?

If you’re looking for Valentine’s Day plans, Greer’s St. Louis Market is currently running a contest for a romantic rooftop dinner for two.
