1. 8th Annual Mardi Gras Block Party
Grab your crew and head to downtown Montgomery for the biggest party of the year—the 8th annual Mardi Gras Block Party. Held on Commerce Street after The Honda Battle of the Bands, this celebration is filled with live music, delicious food and more king cake than you can consume.

2. Mardi Gras Season Murder Mystery
Dress in your roaring 20s best and prepare for a night of mystery during this Mardi-gras-inspired event taking place at The Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald Museum—The Fitz—in Montgomery.
During this classic whodunit mystery event, you won’t just sit by and watch the show—you’ll be part of it while you mingle with other guests and try to solve the clues.
Your ticket includes a special Gatsby Fitzgerald-style punch, Mardi Gras-style food and heavy hors d’oeuvres, plus participation in the Murder Mystery.
After the event, be sure to hit up some restaurants and bars nearby in Montgomery’s Old Cloverdale neighborhood.
3. Mardi Gras Season Ghost Hunter
A night of paranormal activity awaits you during this unique Mardi Gras experience. Using state of the art paranormal investigation equipment, you’ll explore the home and museum of F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald in search of past spirits that may still linger. You’ll also experience the old school practice of the Tipping Table to communicate with the spirits of the mansion.

4. Wetumpka Mardi Gras Festival & Parade
Can’t make it to Mardi Gras in Mobile or New Orleans, then head to Wetumpka for their annual Mardi Gras Festival and Parade on Saturday, February 18.
Whether you attend for the Festival or Parade, there will be lots to enjoy like food, vendors and classic cars, plus lots of moon pies and beads to catch and throw.

5. Arti-Gras Gala
Enjoy Margi Gras with a twist during The Kelly Fitzpatrick Center for the Arts‘ 2nd annual Arti-Gras Gala fundraiser on Tuesday, February 21. Held at the Penthouse of the Wind Creek Casino in Wetumpka, this special event features music, catered food, drinks, a mask contest and art.
