6 ways to celebrate Galentine’s in Auburn

Galentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to spend time with your galfriends and celebrate friendship. If you’re looking for fun-filled ways to celebrate, keep reading to learn about some exciting Galentine’s Day events in Auburn.

1. Galentine’s Day Painting on the Lawn

Paint and sips are a classic and creative way to spend time with your besties.

Although they are usually held in a studio, this Galentine’s Day paint and sip will be held outdoors on the green space between Hey Day Market and The Tony and Libba Rane Culinary Science Center.

Those participating will be guided to paint a winter inspired masterpiece. All supplies and a glass of wine are included in the $45 ticket price and guests will leave this interactive session with their art to display at home.

2. Petals & Pours

Gather up your favorite gals and pick out a pink outfit for Botanic’s Petals & Pours event. This is a deluxe event for women to celebrate each other no matter the relation or age.

The event will start with Bourbon Bar for wine and Hors D’oeuvres. Next, you can participate in one of the hands-on workshops. In the flower workshop, you will pick from fresh blooms and arrange a bud vase to take home. In the other workshop you can create a delicious cocktail that will impress your friends and family when you remake it at home or at an event. 

3. Flower Truck on the Lawn

Whether it is Valentine’s Day or Galentine’s Day, flowers are a key-element.

On the green space between Hey Day Market and The Tony and Libba Rane Culinary Science Center, you and your galfriends can visit The Flower Truck. What better way to express creativity than through building flower bouquets?

There will be fresh-cut flowers, flowers by the stem, bouquets and DIY bulk buckets of their seasonal flower arrangements.

4. Galentine’s Day Cocktail Making Class

A Craft Cocktail Party at the Collegiate Hotel awaits you and your gals. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or someone who loves trying new things, this is an entertaining and enjoyable learning experience.

Guests will receive three recipe cards on crafting classic cocktails, and after making your own custom cocktail, you will walk away with your own cocktail drink shaker. 

On top of learning, you will also get to sample. Guests will sample three popular craft cocktails while enjoying grazer board bites.

5. Brunch at Brick & Spoon

You can never go wrong with choosing Brunch as a way to meet up with the girls.

Brick & Spoon is a brunch restaurant with many yummy things to choose from, like Omelets and Beignets. You can also build your own Bloody Mary.

Whatever you have a craving for, you and your Galentines crew will have a great time eating and enjoying each other’s company.

6. Tea Time at the Well

The Well is a beautiful and unique tea room in Opelika that offers a variety of teas, lattes, collagen waters, finger foods, desserts and more.
