Alabama’s Office of Apprenticeship’s mission is to provide the highest quality career training by adding more registered apprenticeships. What does this mean for job seekers? Having more apprenticeships registered in the new tool can be easier for workers to pursue a job.

Thanks to the Education Policy Center at The University of Alabama, this new program was made possible. UA and AOA’s goal was to create a one-stop dashboard of jobs. Now the program is in full swing and ready for Alabamians seeking jobs. Want to know the best part? You can learn about the jobs available such as the program type and who to call to get that job!

The exploration tool is an interactive map of Alabama with all the registered apprenticeships in the region they are located in. So if you are looking for a job in Madison County, you can zoom in to that region and see all the pins that represent apprenticeships.

By accessing the exploration tool, Alabama workers can start their careers and expand their skills. Check out all the apprenticeships from different job sectors:

  • Architecture + Construction
  • Arts, Audio/Video Tech
  • Business Management
  • Education
  • Hospitality + Tourism
  • Plus many more!

“This is a one-of-a-kind dashboard is another example of how Alabamians striving to provide hight quality service to our meeting their workforce needs, as well of expanding career paths for our citizens.”

Dr. Steve Katsinas, EPC Director
