Alabama retailer recognized as one of America’s top small businesses

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced their list of the 70 top small businesses in the nation, and one from Alabama made the cut. Keep reading to see which southern small biz was featured.

Sheffield local retail shop gains recognition

That’s right—North Alabama’s Sheffield was mentioned in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s small business list.

David Christopher’s, Incorporated is a retail and wholesale provider of home decor, florals and seasonal decorations.

With a physical store and an online shop, David Christopher’s is loved by all locals, and it seems to have gained a solid national presence as well.

The Chamber of Commerce’s selection of America’s top 70 small businesses includes all 50 states, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico. Honorees were evaluated on their business growth, ability to overcome challenges, innovative strategies for success and community engagement.

The results were separated into different U.S. regions, and Sheffield represented the Southeast for top-notch local shop.

These 70 businesses will compete for one of seven finalist spots, and the Chamber’s annual “America’s Top Small Business Awards” winner will be announced on October 19.
