New Cook Out location in North Alabama among $1M+ building permits

Eleven new building permits were pulled this past week across the state for construction projects exceeding $1 million. These permits include projects in Auburn, Athens, Tallapoosa County and the Birmingham metro, among other Alabama locations.

One of the most expensive projects approved was a $3 million permit for a new Cook Out restaurant in Albertville.

Cook Out, based in North Carolina, already has 15 locations in Alabama, with three of those restaurants located in North Alabama (Huntsville, Decatur and Florence).

The new Albertville location will be at 7997 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950. An opening date has not been announced for the restaurant, however.

A $3 million building permit was issued to Venture Construction as the lead contractor for this project.
